Minecraft has a few ways of obtaining mob heads for a small amount of mobs, like the Skeleton, Wither Skeleton, Zombie, Creeper, Piglin, and Ender Dragon. However, there are around 81 different mobs in total, which don't have any way of obtaining their head. This Data Pack addresses that issue by adding mob and player head drops for all mobs and their variants in-game, 3,481 in total excluding custom player heads. But differently from other Data Packs, it adds a guaranteed head drop of mobs when they are killed by a hoe. This keeps farms and grinders from filling up with unwanted head drops and makes obtaining them much easier. Player heads drop when one got killed by another player, acting as some kind of trophy. Furthermore, vanilla progression stays intact by excluding the Wither Skeleton and Ender Dragon from the hoe-based drop mechanic. All in all, a well-designed solution. Give it a try!
